Iron City, "Beer"

"Beer" was purchased by the Anthony family in early 2004 as an off the track thoroughbred, after a rather unsuccessful racing career.  Although he's always been a difficult ride, over the last five years, Beer has become an excellent show horse, excelling in the jumper ring, and recently moving into the eventing world.  He is April's personal show horse, and he is certainly the biggest personality in the barn.  In 2008 he took the CVF Dressage Series Championship for BN Tests A&B, as well as Year End Reserve Champion for the NEO Mini Trial Series in the Beginner Novice Division!
Look out for Beer and April this summer in the Novice division at local horse trials and minitrials!
YerBasik Bay, "Abner"

Abner is the "jack of all trades" type of horse, and has done a little of everything.  He has had many years of show experience in the hunter and jumper rings, and he really enjoys showing off his talents over fences and in the hack classes.  Abner is a well trained and consistent mount that has shown with both kids and adults on his back since we bought him in late 2007.  He's currently offered for sale and lease, so please inquire if you are interested.  His current asking price is $7500.
WH Rachel, "Anja"

Anja was purchased from Tiffany Braden of Andover, Ohio in September of 2009, and is the latest addition to our family.  She is only three years old, and we are still in the process of breaking her out to ride.  This fall she has learned to walk and trot with a rider on her back!  She is a smart girl, and we think she'll make a great child's or beginner's pony when she gets a few more miles on her.
Angel of Dreams, "Angel"

Angel was rescued from slaughter at the Sugar Creek Auctions in spring 2006 at the age of four.  She is an unraced thoroughbred mare with a great temperament and wonderful movement.  She is a very sweet girl who loves to work and has been successfully shown in the dressage ring, and has been used in the past for some lessons as well.  Angel is currently on lease at Holly Hill Farm in Avon Lake, Ohio.  She is doing very well adjusting to her new life and plans on doing some more showing this summer and fall.
GOOD LUCK ANGEL and NATALIE!
Willie Wonka, "Willie"

Willie was donated to us by Karen Boysen (see her link on our "links" page), a close friend who was relocating out of state and could not take him with her.  Willie is a reliable old pony (over 30 y/o) who has "been there and done that".  He has been used to teach many kids to ride, and has shown successfully in both english and western classes as recently as last year.  He is officially retired from showing now, and is enjoying retired life!!
